In July 2008 the Rt Revd Dr Laurie Green, Bishop of Bradwell, licensed
the Revd Reverend Stephanie Stroebel as an Assistant Priest
for the Anglican parish of South Woodham Ferrers, Holy Trinity
Hurrah!

Not parachutists but paint-ballers...
In June 2008 the HTML (Holy Trinity Men's League) spent a challenging day
chasing through some ancient Essex woodland and shooting madly at one another.
The pain fades gradually...
Congratulations to the BLACK team - and to the REDs who were runners-up.

Easter 2008 surprised us with a blizzard - but it did not prevent us
from decorating the church cross with daffodils
and singing "Thine be the Glory" as the snow clothed us all in white

Whilst on a hill overlooking the town
we set up a proclamation of Christ's suffering and glory

On Good Friday our Walk of Witness - shared with other local Christians -
took us through the town centre

At Christmas we share with other local Christians in a wonderful 'Christmas Journey',
with real animals in a farm-based presentation
of the Birth of Our Saviour, Jesus Christ

We have some dedicated football fans
who like to share both their hobby and their faith

We even managed to challenge a neighbouring parish
to a game of real footie on Remembrance Sunday  - and we won!

In the run up to Christmas we support the Friends of South Woodham Ferrers Station
with a spot of carol singing on the platform
and then down to Southminster and back, on board the "Santa Special".

Every month we have a joint outing - here are some of us
in the garden at Wrabness station, which we visited en route for Harwich.

...and here we are again in Bethnal Green,  where we visited
the Weavers Centre and then walked to the Ragged School Museum
via the Waste and Stepney Green.

We were delighted to support the MAGPIES clear-up of the Riverside,
and here we show Pam Buckingham sitting on the newly refurbished seat
given in memory of her mother some twenty years ago.

Here are children from both our Church Schools happily making music together.

A united outdoor service on Whit Sunday - Pentecost - bringing together
all the churches in the town.

This is a place of prayer...

...throughout the seasons...

...lest we forget.
